Overnight sharp frost, v. cold n.-w. wind all day although cloudless sky. Morning took down Christmas decorations and checked car tyres etc. After lunch dozed, some shopping for R., dog round Country Park and Point, R.’s for tea. Evening got invite from Pamela Martin to tutor church study day for Friends of Beverley Minster – good opportunity. Also, on spur of moment, joined Facebook without any prior know-how of what to do (free), discovered its suggested links = mostly strangers but included Val, Mick, Hannah and James as well as at least one C.S. member in Barton. How can it (they) possibly know??
