Update/Explanation.

I have neglected my blogs/posts for a week or two as I needed to focus on preparing various presentations in the diary for this summer. Although I had promised myself I would not embark on any new projects, three of them are!

The short list is – 17/5/24 – Barton Civic Society – ‘Early History of Hull’s Municipal Parks’.

18/5/24 – ‘Suffolk Palace’ – Hull Central Library.

1/6/24 – ‘Tree study walk’ – Friends of Pearson Park, Hull.

6/7/24 – ‘Houses around the Park’ – Friends of Pearson Park, Hull.

27/7/24 – ‘Flooding’ – Day School – Lifelong Learning at Barton.

No date yet – somewhere in Hull’s Heritage week programme – ‘Visitor’s Impressions of Hull, 18th and 19th centuries’ (this a follow-up to last year’s presentation on same title but for 16th and 17th centuries).

10/9/24 – Barton ‘Cemetery walk/study’ – Barton Heritage Week Programme.

14/10/24 – Hull Civic Society – ‘Early History of Hull’s Municipal Parks’.

Plus various articles. Will return to current theme of ‘Hull, Early History of’, soon. R.C.
