Last years guided walks in some of Hull’s Parks and Cemeteries went well and I would like to thank those who attended a number of the walks across the various venues, and wish them well in 2026.
The ‘just turn up’ system is all very well but it meant there was no contact between attendees in between visits. I’m not aware that any problems arose, but they could have. So this year I’m trying a WhatsApp group which I hope anyone interested will sign up to so that we can keep in touch.
I think the site is up and running, but not very sure. It is called Parks, Cemeteries and Green Spaces. So am hoping someone interested can find it and join by posting their name, when I reply they will be registered.
I hope this works. Obviously people want to know the Programme for 2026 which I will post in the next blog in a day or so. R.C.
