Recent trip to North Wales 6.

Day six was cooler but still an almost cloudless sky and good visibility – a return visit to Penmaenmaur seafront but less frequented as on the 1970s postcard photo above. On the advice of a local resident decided to visit the waterfront of the next settlement west Llanfairfechan. This proved interesting even though the waterside facilities were few and far-between. A series of interesting houses ran parallel to the waterfront path and at the same level, a low wall alongside the front seemed to be their only flood defence, a situation that would be very dangerous along the East Coast.
